A random female character named ryan (guys name). That is pretty weird. I doubt the show will survive any longer than one more season.

It literally has nothing to do with batwoman anymore. They could also just call it "Ryan Wilder - a fighter for all occasions" instead of "Batwoman".

Ryan can be used for both, it's not just for men.

i was like "huh" also at first. i always thought Ryan is a name for male only.

re-casting the main role is also very difficult. i don't know which decision is the best for the show. but i wasn't too fond of the first three episodes (i stopped then) and i won't watch season 2. i think the show has no long future - no matter which way they'd go.

Well if they casted an actress for kate which resembles the previous to a certain degree and also has talent it could actually work, it could even better better than is season 1 actually. Making the batwoman show not anymore about the classic batwoman, well that can't go well I think.

Ryan is definitely a unisex name here in the US.

I think it will be about Batwoman

just not "Kate". I think I will give it a try. But it might all depend on who they choose.

I used to watch it, made it about half way through the season? I fell behind when I moved, and I realized it was just ok, and I didn't feel the need to pick it back up

But maybe with the lead/character it will revitalize the show

I just really hope they don't cast a straight actress. I've seen people talk about Wallis Day and Natasha Negovanlis and I would love to see one of them getting the role.

I don't think they will. I think they are planning on having a lesbian actress. I like Natasha and all, but I don't think she could pull it off at all. Plus, she's not a lesbian
