And dave erickson is gone, his writing general approach was even a good portion better than the imporved season 6 writing. Bc it only focused on this one family and they people they have to deal with instead of having a big cast.

agreed with you guys. the family aspect is what got me into Fear and made me like it more than TWD back then.

I watched already the first half of the first episode of twd beyond. So far it seems ok, Not great for sure, but also not worse than season 4 of ftwd. I will have to look more into it though. The community of which the main characters are from is interesting. It's one of the three of the "Alliance of The Three" of which the Civic Republic (helicopter people) is the biggest one and most important one and also provides military support for all three communities.

The featured one is called "Campus Community" and is the smallest of the three, though small is not exactly the right word to describe it, Bc it still has around 10k inhabitants with an actual high school, police, etc and very much every day like life.

I think the Civic Republic and their military are quite similar in terms of size and power to the Commonwealth. Will be interesting to see them interact one day hopefully.
