Well bc some hacker dowloaded it from their servers and posted it online. But it's not like they posted it online, they should invest in cyber security though. Plus torrents are supoer unsafe, either you get a virus or chances are high you get caught by the police who use spy programs on torrent, at least were I live.

I know I'm totally late to a discovery that pretty much everyone here already made, but Season 3 of FTWD is really good!

I started watching during the dreaded Season 4 purely because I loved ADC in The100, found it intriguing at first but increasingly lame and stupid as the season went on (apologies to anyone that loved S4!) and was about to give up on the show, but then I read some discussion here that previous seasons were much better. So I went back to watch and thought S1 was really promising but then fell kinda flat, S2 a bit better but I skipped a bunch, and now I"m four episodes into S3 and damn! the show is really hitting its stride.

Why did they decide on such a big reboot after S3? Were ratings really down or something? I think it would have been so much better to continue with what the show had been building rather than totally changing the characters/tone/direction like they did in S4. I'm curious if the powers that be ever explained that decision...

Don't worry nobody here likes season 4 at all.

No idea why they rebooted it, bc it was really good and ratings were in S3 lower than in S1-2, but still pretty strong. And after the sort of reboot they strongly declined. So if that was the plan it clearly backfired.

We all have no clue why they did this shtty reboot but we all think it is because Gimple took over and he is known for messing things up like he did with TWD. Season 3 had very good reviews and season 4 - well, it just sucked

Are you up to date with TWD and FTWD?

Thanks for the welcome! I'm more or less up to date with TWD (I watched all of season 9, totally skipped 7 and 8 and part of 6 but saw most of the earlier seasons); watching S5 of FTWD as it comes out but still catching up on (and really enjoying) Season 3.

Since S4 of FTWD was the first I saw it didn't bug me as much as everyone else--I didn't realize how they'd changed the characters, or how important Madison and Nick had been--but I still thought the 2nd half was really weak, with the characters comically unable to kill that one stinky old lady. Now that I'm watching S3 I realize even more why everyone hated what they did with the reboot.

no one really understands this. interesting that you watched s4 first. if someone didn't know the previous seasons it might have been good maybe but in direct comparison it really lacked and didn't do the original characters justice.

glad you are enjoying season 3 so much too. it's really been the best. season 5 is better than season 4 but still not the quality we were used to.

At least season 5 is a bit better now.
