a show... any show, but particularly a show where people's lives are at stake and survival is the number one priority, it gets old to see them being reckless, stupid or just out right making unnatural decisions that defy instincts just for some manufactured tension.

like when Al goes out to the crash site by herself... at night... in the rain... to look for evidence and when she finds it she starts yelling into that stupid walkie and gets knocked out from behind. she should be dead from any of a number of reasons, but good thing the helicopter chick didn't kill her and didn't leave her to be eaten but saved her so she could spend a whole episode to almost kill her.

Lucianna going outside the gas station while she's sick and talking on the walkie is the same thing was so dumb.

or the way they split up and don't watch each others backs or let themselves get surrounded by slow moving walkers without fighting back until they are overwhelmed.

stuff like that happens all the time and it annoys the hell out of me.

Yes agree. When chambliss and goldberg came in they were like „eww the story is so complex, we don‘t understand anything and so many diverse characters and complex characters which we also can’t write.“ Then gimple got to them and said „What do you think guys, we just simplify everything and bring in mostly white boring characters, so you two can write something“.

cause i'm just waiting for the "Gimple is no longer involved in the making of the untitled The Walking Dead movies" headline to pop up because AMC knows they really can't allow the movies to mess up, as that will be a way bigger blow to the franchise than what they did to FTWD.
