Yes this is what drives me the most crazy about the new show runners. Rather than creating actually tense or exciting situations, they try to create tension artificially by deliberately withholding information that would normally be shared. Which leaves the characters talking and behaving weirdly. Morgan and Al know nothing about Ginny and her group, and all they ask is “do you have helicopters?”??? And then randomly decide they don’t like her and “her methods” (about which they know almost nothing) and leave? In any normal interaction these people would have talked! If they genuinely share the goal of “helping people” they would have discussed that and tried to find common ground. Instead they have a weirdly stilted conversation, watch Ginny scarf some jam, and split. All so that the horsey group will seem mysterious and villainous and we viewers will supposedly be engaged. I am not amused.

I do like Grace though. Hoping this isn’t the end for her. And I like Al and was interested in her desire to find out who was in the compound. Her motivation to find the helicopter people at least gives her a goal beyond “helping.”

i'm just a bit sad because of Grace she was likable at least, very sympathetic and had a deeper storyline. it's a pity she's going to die.

They are in charge, undoubtedly being paid very well and they are doing a laughably bad job. I read many of the twitter posts and insofar as they were critical and directed at Chambliss and Goldberg, the criticism was of their terrible job performance.

The comments reflect my feelings - total amazement that these guys were put in charge. All available evidence suggests that they are completely incompetent storytellers and have no business running a serial drama in the modern age of television.
