It could well be that the end game of the whole TWD universe is the resolution of the Helicopter People versus Mothership war and FTWD's ultimate purpose has become to establish some characters on both sides of that conflict.

If the seasons were needed to pick up the new characters for later use in a crossover (cowboy, Dwight, nuclear lady, rabbi, whatever), they could have still made a show of it instead of waste everyone's time.

I really think alycia should totally leave amc unless they make her lead in a spin-off like the planned one about some young people in the apocalypse or as an important character in the rick movies. I mean they know she has one the biggest fanbases out of all amc actors together with andrew lincoln, norman reedus and danay gurira. So i think she can be a bit more demanding right there. Demanding the respect for her talent she deserves. But i fear she may be a bit too polite there.

They may be decent ratings still but much worse as compared to any previous season. That must be a warning signal to them.

Btw let at least alicia cross over to the movies.

and i don't know what really happens off screen. you just don't quit a show when you are in it for 5 years and one of the mains. i mean, even if, it might not be easy to get out of the contract? and you get jobless at the beginning if you don't have other projects. it's just not easy.

I don't see a big future for FTWD anyways. At some point it will merge to the mother show. Besides they have already a spin off going. Season 6 might very well be the last.

That is why she needs to demand a better position in the ftwd. I think they renew they contracts each season so she might be able to get out after all, but a better position in one of the shows would maybe be even better.

I read that lenny james is interested in moving to the rick movies. So maybe morgan could go there and leave ftwd. That would actually be great.
