yeah, it's a hard-scrabble life in the country, no jobs, nothing but meth labs, junkies, corrupt cops and landowners, kill or be killed. the book is brutal too. Appalachia is like a seven state area from North Carolina to Kentucky, they never really say what state it is in the book or film, but i think it is Tennessee by looks of it. my IG username is Appalachian_Angel after Ree Dolly, the main character played by Jen.
