My guess is Al dying in the finale. In 4x15 (last episode), the note she left for the group gave explicit instructions on what to do with her tapes, so I'm pretty sure those instructions will become relevant at some point, suggesting she'll die.

not surprising. her character was only there to introduce the viewers to the new cast members. she was used as a lazy/convenient way for the writers to provide character development.
