Liked her the most when she cared for Ofelia so much.

It actually does make sense tho...Ofelia was one of the few people she rode the begging of the apocalypse with, was it not for her Travis and co. definately would of not made it back from that downtown riot.
And I'm pretty sure Madison understood that the Anthrax atack was accidental, Ofelia even says it I think, she didn't know the poison was anthrax, she thought it would be something to incapacitate the militia, not outright kill them __________________

Most characters are usually written black or white, decent people vs evil people (see TWD) - to have a female lead character on a post-apocalyptic show who is the ****ing antithesis of let's say Mr Grimes or Maggie Greene, a hard-ass unlikeable woman who steps over bodies, manipulates people left and right, makes bad decisions and mentally scars her own children and justifies it as protecting them because she has to - that's one ballsy move man.

I mean, people in general hate strong, uncharismatic female characters, just look at Skyler White. What surprised me was seeing how many people dislike Dickens. That was just...very weird cause I think she's awesome.

I don't think people dislike Dickens as a person, just her acting/how she portrays that character is not everyones cup of tea. As a person she comes across as very likeable and nice.

What gets to me about Madison is that she murders her father not because her mother asked her to or even wished for his death. She murders him because she got tired of having to deal with the aftermath of his violent acts towards her mother. I have a feeling her mother never forgave her for it and made her look at her own daughter as some kind of a monster. And just like Madison said, that's ok, she can live with that. She can be the bad guy if the situation asks for it. The problem is - THE PROBLEM IS nobody ****ing asks her to be the bad guy. She just makes that decision by herself thinking she knows better, she's the stong one, she the decision-maker. And just tramples everybody else's choices and feelings in the process. That's the crux of the argument she has with Nick after Troy's demise. And she's wrong as hell about it, tbh.
