It just doesn't make much sense to do all of this unless they are trying to reach one point in the entire franchise.

i can't imagine how they're going to handle explaining/showing the reason Madison, Alicia and Nick are like this or that over a two year time skip.

FTWD was supposed to be its own thing, now I feel like it's changing too much due to the main show.

that's what pisses me off more than even the time jump itself. in the first three seasons Fear was as different from TWD as NCIS was from JAG. same universe, but entirely different direction and growth. this was made possible because Fear had no attachment to the comics other than being set in the same universe. they had nothing holding them back from organic storytelling and letting their characters develop naturally.

now, Fear is being stuffed into the comic's box and and will stagnate and flounder. it's not Morgan's (Lennie James') fault, it doesn't matter which TWD character came over or how they did it. it's Gimple being Gimple, potentially ruining one show to try to save the other.

i seriously hope i'm wrong about this and they keep Fear separate from TWD beyond the one character, but all signs point to the death of both shows soon.

She left the ranch to go back to Mexico to see if she could find any survivors from Colonia. At least I think I'm remembering this correctly. She had problems with the Ottos, understandably, especially since there were undertones of racism at the ranch.
