This was a better episode and finally feels like it's leading somewhere.
Strand and John were a pretty great team up. I prefer this bromance over John/Morgan. John with the horn was infinitely more amusing than the "funny" twins. Pretty annoying that the other focus was again on Morgan and friends. It should have been Alicia/Charlie and them hearing the horn and gun shots and maybe finding John's hat washed up and stumbling on them that way. Then the cameo is Morgan connecting with Luciana through the walkie after her sidestory with the trucker ends. Instead, half the episode is the same damn story we've been watching for 3 episodes now. __________________

it's sad that the 30 seconds of Alicia and Charlie was more interesting than the however many minutes of Morgan the pacifist and Cole the beer guy.
but let's focus on the positive things. love seeing Strand and John together, their back and forth throughout the episode was gold (i agree about some logic points here with the water, the truck etc but i ignore that of now). the twins are funny and really break up the doom and gloom outlook everyone has nicely. they grow on me from episode to episode. sure they are not as special as Taqa or Crazy Dog but these times are gone. the scenes with Luciana and the old man were touching and well done, glad she is back with the others. i'm really thinking this crazy lady makes a good villain, she doesn't seem to have much motive other than to just kill people she thinks are weak but i kind of like that about her, she's just crazy plain and simple. __________________

It wasn't as bad as the trailer suggested. Many good parts I liked. If FTWD keeps up this way, I might see hope.

I am a big believer that Filthy Woman and Clayton (Lucy's beer buddy) somehow had a relationship and her scorn is driven by something that happened between them. Now she is associating Morgan with Clayton since he knew the "take what you need" mantra. It's funny because she could just be talking rag time, but since Morgan knows he has a somewhat sketchy past so he is self doubting some lunatic on the other end of the walkie.

also i am liking the creepiness and mystery of Filthy Woman. definitely looking forward to learn more next week as some of her scenes seemed more colored, so i assume they are flashbacks?
on another positive note, the characters are interacting more with each other now. __________________

It looks like the writers are building up these friendships like Strand-Dorie and Alicia-Charlie separately so that the old guard and new guard have some kind of connection. These little duos are actually working pretty well. Also, Al-June was okay last week, except both of them are newbies.
I thought this was an improvement upon previous episodes from this season, but the filter seriously drains my energy. __________________

Not gonna lie, I liked this episode despite it still many flaws on logic and common sense. Luciana and the trucker man's sequences were the best feature, too. Other than that, this episode did engage me enough to watch it without distractions

After not enjoying the last episode all that much, this episode was quite enjoyable.
To sum up here is what I liked: John and Strand were pretty fun together. Luciana's spirt quest, while at first seemed pointless, connected with the main plot in the end. Glad we got to find out what happened to the box man. the cliffhanger was nicely done. __________________

It was one of the better episodes in season 4.

i still vote for a spinoff led by Kim where it tells the stories of the like year and a half between season 3 and 4.
