yes indeed. i have a lot of respect for her for that. it was poignant and it would've been weird if Clarke never told her mom about how important she was. not only for the Clarke and Lexa relationship but for the mother daughter one.

even more disappointing the writers themselves didn't came up with a simple line or just let Clarke talking about Lexa more.

i am always sad at the 'i love her' scene, totally feeling Clarke's grief, and am happy it's finally getting some notice again as Season 7 heads toward the conclusion. yeah, the writers are terrible and being shown up by actors writing great lines/scenes, is telling of the writing talent pool. ugh.

For them to have the final season include some time/alternate dimension travel or whatever they're doing (not totally sure the specifics, since I lost interest since Lexa's death... it's literally the perfect opportunity to reunite Clexa in the end if they want to. Clarke certainly deserves a happy ending after everything she's been through and survived, and Lexa deserves vindication. But Paige's latest tweet makes it clear that JR gives a **** about it.

to this very minute, i still don't understand why jrot had to kill her. why didn't he just have the 12 clans turn on her, led by lies from the two-faced ambassadors, and she is deposed from her leadership and forced to go on the run. Lexa spends several years in the wild, rebuilding her alliance and force of warriors loyal to her. several seasons later, she could reappear in a stunning victory and retake the throne. there were so many possibilities with Lexa not in Polis, out there somewhere.
