yes he did but the decision to kill Lexa was Jason and also the how was Jason. Javi once explained that in the interview.

Writing and being the Showrunner are two different things.
yes. again to clear things up, he was the main writer yes but he wasn't solely responsible for it and he's one of the only writers that actually listened and talked with fans immediately following 307 unlike some people. and he listened and apologized and spoke truthfully and he's been working to rectify it ever since by spreading awareness and working on projects with representation.
where else Jason denied ever talking about the bury your gays trope, Javi admitted, even though he didn't have to considering it was a conversation only held between the writers and Jason, that they not only discussed the bury your gays trope but also foolishly and arrogantly thought they would 'overcome' it with their writing. so like i said he's been honest and genuinely apologetic, he even appeared in the Lexa's legacy video from the first year of Clexacon and the fandom respects him. i should have written that in my first post below. |
Thanks Tina for the explanation :flowers:

no worries, but thanks to Amelia for the question :)

the rainbow scene was amazing in season 1. imagine Clexa witnessing this together :sigh:
That would have been so cool!
but it was good the grounders appeared in season 2 for real.
Honestly wouldn't have minded them earlier.
hm yeah maybe this way Clexa could have met earlier.
Thanks for the lovely new thread and the art
