Yes that sadly explains a lot. That man is boredom in person. His fantasy likely equals that. And goldberg and chambliss aren't that talented writers, though I believe a good portion of the mess comes from the general plot direction gimple gives them.

This is how I wanted Alicia Clark. Not Gimple's version.

I think Alycia really didn't film much for the new season so far. She maybe filmed a little bit for the first episode or so already last year before her long australia holiday, then she was back in the US in late january promoting her perfume in New York and on february 3rd posting she's back to work, but it is now widely believed she was filming episode 15-16 of the hundred until at least february 23rd.

And then on march 1-3 she was filming her short film. Only after that she shared a bts pic from the ftwd set with colman. So in the time from march 4th to march 14th (when everything shut down) she likely filmed that episode wghich focuses on her and colman that was directed by lenny james. So out of the first 7episodes or so filmed she is very likely only in 2-3.

The first one likely showing how they arrive in virginia's place, then maybe, just maybe a small scene in the second one and of course the 7th one. But episodes 3-6 very likely not. Unless she filmed some short scenes in the time between promoting the perfume in late february and filming the 100. But her post from february 3 was saying "back to work" and her making a sad face, which implies she did not work until then.

So we maybe skip episodes 3-6 bc very likely no alicia.
