Beck's Top five Shipper quotes ONE. Show: The Vampire Diaries Ship: Damon & Stefan  "The Salvatore Brothers may fight like dogs, but in the end, they'd die for each other." _______________ This is by far my favourite relationship on TV ever. Even though it's not a romantic one it's been the most influential TV relationship in my life and here's why. This quote sums up perfectly and so quaintly their bond, they fight and they argue and almost killed each other. They fck each other up, let each other down and break each other's hearts but when it comes down to it, when it really matters they'd do anything for each other and in the end one did die for the other. Imagine having someone in your life who would be there completely and utterly unconditionally, I'd kill for a bond like that. ______________ TWO Show: Skins Ship: Franky & Nick  Franky: "Oh, that's right, just run away!" Nick: "I wish I fcking could! But I can't. Part of me would give anything for you to just disappear, just be gone. That's a tiny part. Because compared to this, I haven't felt a single fcking thing in my life." _____________ Such angst! Such feelings, this quote kills me. Franky is such a hot mess and Nick is such a sad puppy, I really connect with this quote, I know what's it's like to be in Nick's position. But Nick doesn't care that's she's messed up, he doesn't care that she's complicated, he doesn't care that she's hard work, he doesn't care that it would be easier to love someone else. He loves her and that's just how it is, she's worth his pain. _________ THREE Show: The Vampire Diaries Ship: Delena  Damon: I wanted to apologize. Elena: Good. Damon: Let me finish. And there’s no apology in the world that encompasses all the reasons that I’m wrong for you." _____________ Not the happiest of Delena quotes but this one really speaks to my heart. And although it seems like such a hopeless quote, it's not, he isn't saying he doesn't love her or that he doesn't want to be with her. He's such being open about how hard he is to love. He wants to push her away because deep down he hates himself and thinks can no one can love him, it's heart breaking but beautiful all at once. FOUR Show: Glee Ship: Brittana  Santana: "And what I realized is why I'm such a bitch all the time. I'm a bitch because I'm angry. I'm angry because I have all of these feelings, feelings for you, that I'm afraid of dealing with because I'm afraid of dealing with the consequences." __________ When Santana finally had the courage to confess her undying love to Brittany I almost died. This was such a huge moment and so incredibly hard for someone like Santana, that's why it meant so much. I know what it's like to love a Santana, they're complicated souls, but if Santana Lopez can do it, anyone can. She led the way for young gay women and it was so beautiful. ____________ FIVE Show: How I met Your Mother Ship: Barney/Robin  Barney: "I love everything about her, and I'm not a guy who says that lightly, I'm a guy who has faked love his entire life, I'm a guy who thought love was just something idiots felt, but this woman has a hold on my heart that I could not break if I wanted to. And there have been times when I wanted to. It has been overwhelming and humbling, and even painful at times, but I could not stop loving her any more than I could stop breathing. I’m hopelessly, irretrievably in love with her. More than she knows.” _______ Again, another beautifully worded love confession. This time by no other than womanising, lying, cheating sociopathic narcacist, Barney Stinson. And boy doesn't he have a way with words? There's nothing more beautiful than watching a narcacist fall in love because they're battling with this need to be selfish but to also be there for the one they love. So this speech was so unbelievably hard for him but so natural all at the same time. It really pulls at my heart strings like you wouldn't believe. __________________
