But contagion is not a post-apocalypse movie tbh. There is a virus outbreak like we have now, many people die, but then they find a vaccine and life slowly goes back to normal.

It was really good.

Though not postapocalyptic, contagion is surely the most relevant movie right now. There is just a few differences, the virus in the movie also attacks kids badly and they don't do lockdowns and hence the virus spreads everywhere really fast and millions fo people die before people stay home on their own.
