There is a new german netflix series i wanna try out. Barbarians (Barbaren). About the germanic tribes and their fight against the roman empire. It‘s probably a but like Vikings or The Last Kingdom.

I think it is a lot like vikings and those other medieval style shows.

Yes the boys is great and I'm still surprised alycia likes it, but she also likes quentin tarantino movies so she must have some love for gory movies even though it totally does not fit with her flower personality. But well she's special and mysterious.

Finally watched the last two episodes of Bly Manor...and yeah, a bit speechless. After the perfect, beautiful and poetic 8th episode, this 9th, the closer, ties up most remaining loose ends from the series, while giving us an extended look at the heart rending relationship between the au pair and the gardener. Caps off this amazing series. It was a haunting love story. There are horror elements, of course and it is plenty atmospheric. There aren't may shows that make me weep, and I certainly wasn't expecting that this show would, but it did

I just watched the Wilds' first episode and wasn't convinced but the others seem to like it

First episodes are often slow tbh. Look at the witcher, it also started off slow.

One of the rare shows with a great first episode already was stranger things, but that show is perfect.
