oh and btw i did watch The Outsider this morning, well first episode. and i already liked 1x01 a lot. reminds me at Stephen King books! it's quite thrilling already and i am hooked. the cast looks brilliant but most important, the story is great (as far as i can judge right now).

so i forgot, is there a second season coming or not???

Well it is in fact based on a stephen king novel. Did you read many of them?

They aren't sure if they'll do another season. It was planned as a stand alone mini-series, but maybe they might do another season. We have to wait and see.

Mystery should watch this, it's totally his favorite genre (crime and mystery combined).

yes, there was a tweet once and i remember i didn't like Stephen King as a person that much since he blessed season 4 or whatever on the other hand he also tweeted something about Lexa that she is genius or something like that. no idea, i don't know much about him but several books and especially short stories i've read were excellent.

I am at 1x03 with Stargirl. I am moving slow somehow. The show is not bad but I am also not fully into it yet, can't tell why...

Maybe a bit later on. But i‘m also a fan of the comics, so for me it was amazing to see all the details and it coming to life.

Not too many actually, just of some character I really like, as batman. superman, justice leage or the stargirl and the JSA. But on the dc board there is some people who have read way more comics tbh.

I think I continue with Stargirl this weekend to see where it goes. I don't know the comics though.

The writer of the comics is also the showrunner of the show and wrote some of the episodes.

It is, I hope it will be similar when GRRM will help produce/write house of the dragon since he wrote the fire and blood book this is based on.

Also brian herbert (son of dune writer frank herbert), who also wrote the prequel books on how the bene gesserit sisterhood helped create the galactic empire in dune, will be a showrunner on the prequel show based on his books.

It makes it less likely those shows get messed up, bc the book writers have a say and certainly don't want their story to get botched.
