from the moment i read the mortal instruments books,
alexander gideon lightwood has been one of my fave
literary characters. Matthew has brought him to life
for me and i could never thank him enough for that.
not only did he (and still does) an amazing job with
the character, he himself is just a beautiful person
inside and out. he's truly a person you could just
watch for ages and never get tired of what he's
doing, and trust me when i say with matthew you
could expect him to be doing some pretty odd stuff.

i absolutely adore this board, its people and just being
able to discuss matthew and alec's journey. he is such
a positive person so we try to do the same for the
board and will continue to do so. thanks to everyone
who made it possible that we're still kicking demon
ass two years after opening and here's to many more.

I first saw Matthew as Alec Lightwood one of my favourite characters.
Since then I have admired and adored this man. He brings so much
to Alec its a joy to watch him every week. Matthew is a precious gem
of a human being and so so sweet. I always enjoy his tweets and live
chats he is so funny and quirky in the best way possible.

This board has been one of my homes here at fanforum since it opened
and I am a proud Mod to see the board reach 2 years. The people and
my wonderful co-mod make this a safe haven for us to discuss all things
Matthew and Alec. Here's to many more years to come!
