Well even in the military he was using it to his advantage and at times quite illegally but I'm glad they showed him to be moral.

That's what I love about all the characters, deep inside they're not straightforward bad people just they're not innocent. T-Bag being the exception because zero redeeming qualities

I wasn't a huge fan of his character on 9-1-1 but he improved as the season moved along.
