Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, a friendship that got started on a set of a show that you may know, Prison Break. The show first aired in August 29, 2005. They portrayed close brothers in Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burros for four seasons, until the show was sadly at the end. We always knew they were a bit close, but we never knew how close until 2015 when a producer asked Wentworth who he think would make a perfect casting partner for his Captain Cold counterpart Heat Wave, and the first and only name that came to Wentworth's mind was Dominic Purcell. Luckily, the producers went with his choice and one of the main reasons why Dominic jumped at the opportunity was for he could work with Wentworth regularly again. It's been 12 years, and their friendship has grown even more, they are the "matched set" actors who know what the other is thinking after the longevity of time they've worked together, and in real life they consider each other family, which you can see through interviews and social media sites. Thanks to Wentworth and Dominic, Prison Break will return to the screens again in 2017, so double duty for the brothers on and off set to all of us.

A producer on Flash told Wentworth, 'We're trying to cast this character Heat Wave.
[He's] like a hothead, edgy, aggressive, unpredictable, kind of cool. Do you have any actors you can recommend?' and
Dominic Purcell was the only name that came to mind," Wentworth said.

For Dominic, it was less about the role, and more about teaming up with
his friend on screen again that made him say yes.

"Wentworth got in touch with me and said, 'Would I be interested in coming on the show?' I said, 'Absolutely,' just to work with Wentworth," Dominic said.

We’re like salt and pepper shakers, we’re like a matched set. When I’m working with Dominic, there’s an ease and understanding
because I know what he wants from a scene, and I know that he knows what I want from a scene.
So we’ll tend to work a lot faster than another pair of actors.
