Some Blindspot scoop might make this long wait seem easier. — Yasmine It’s been a few years, but the team will still be somewhat intact when the show returns — although that doesn’t necessarily mean they still work together. “The team will be the team again in season 3, but they’ll have really been through a variety of experiences in those ensuing two years that brings a fresh perspective to it,” EP Martin Gero says. “But there is a little bit of needing to get the band back together at the top of season 3.” Oh, and Gero teases there may even be some new team members.

I'm guessing the variety of experiences thing means whatever Jeller experienced in those two years and also what the kidnapped team members went through. I honestly think it'd be an interesting character development if one of the characters was tortured (I know, we already see that in real life. But it would add an interesting dynamic to a character)

We did see Patterson tortured so I hope it isn't her again. That was hard to watch.

I'm not sure about Blindspot, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't started filming yet, so it makes sense that they wouldn't be there. The good news is that both shows will make an appearance at New York Comic-Con.
