I didn't know there was an unaired pilot for that show. I loved Dollhouse and was so disappointed when it got cancelled.

I just thought of something. What if Patterson has a first name that she hates so she refuses to use it and she's the one who wants to be known only as Patterson. Think about it - what if her parents named her Patty?
