I think he stumbled across it one morning as they were getting ready... Then he just keep insisting on helping her. I'm watching it again so I'll find out

Yeah it was a really big mistake for her to allow him access to any of her FBI work.

I just watched that episode and he found her folder so he started looking at them. She said that he invaded her privacy and she wasn't even supposed to bring it home. So yeah, just so sad any way....

And she told him several times that he couldn't see that cause they were classified but she shouldn't have brought them home then he wouldn't have seen them and he would still be alive. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it her fault that David died but she put them both in a dangerous situation.

Yeah she should not have just casually laid them out in the open where he could find them. She should have either left them at work or kept them in a locked briefcase at home when she wasn't activity looking at them.

But he also had no idea how dangerous her job and the information she had really was. He should have taken it and her warnings more seriously. He acted like it was a big game - and it wasn't.
