Yes I am enjoying it so far I am really looking forward to next week though. It should be a really low key week for me

We’ve just been hanging out, going to the pool and some stores. It’s been hot and today I have a bad headache from too much sun

Oh yay for low key!! I love being lazy which you probably don’t get a chance at doing a lot.

Yeah I think both of us need more low key days of being lazy! It's so hard though when you stay at home with small kids like we do.

My son made reserve time in 3 strokes for swim team so he gets to swim in the Reserve meet of Champ Series this weekend. He is super excited.

How have things been for you? Are you enjoying your time with your son and dad?

He did so good Chris!! It was so fun to watch him compete. Considering that he doesn't belong to a year around swim league, like the majority of the kids who participate in the Champ Series, I feel he did amazing.

And he loved every minute of it. Last swim season he barely improved so it was awesome to see him make huge strides this season.

Glad to hear that it went well and that your son enjoyed the experience. Swimming is a great skill to have. If he decides to pursue it, lifeguarding can be a good summer job.

We're doing fine, thanks. It's been really hot here, so I've been thankful for air conditioning. Today we're finally getting some desperately needed rain. I had hoped to go down to the Monday market in the park, but the rain has put a damper on that.

The slipped rib is no joke man!! I was in so much pain that I got a fever fever and a mean headache with that rib was just no bueno.

How have you been Amy?? IKR! Omg it’s so horrible lately. How hot is it for you?? It will reach 108 this week

yeah it is disgustingly hot and humid here I hate summer so much. August is always the worst and it hasn't even started yet.

I hope your rib heals quickly Jo. Being in that kind of pain sucks.
