Yeah I think so too Jo. Maybe this next time you can try it and see if you get a boy?

It rained today so no boardwalk :pout:

 6 is a lot! Talk about being outnumbered! I bet they will stay to themselves though :)

I think we are more leaning towards not having ankther one.

Awww shucks! Is it a 3day weekend for you too?

Omg tell me about it! They are pretty noisy too

How you doing Amy?

One Thing Remains 02-19-2018 12:02 AM

tftnt Jo :flowers: I love the Headquarters title that you added :)

Yeah I understand Jo

No it's not a 3 day weekend for me or my hubby

I am doing great :) Just been really tired lately. My life is pretty boring. Not much excitement or change in routine. Can't believe the weekend is already over :blank: Tomorrow it's back to the grind :(

How about you Jo?

Aww really. It was a 3day weekend for the kids but not for hubby.

Talk about tired. These teenagers stayed up to 3am and were noisy pretty much the whole time :pout:

Same Amy. Same. Same old, same old pretty much every day unless someone has a game or something g.

:yay: that's great! Congrats on your new computer :D Can't wait to see the icons!

Jo that's awesome that your kids got a 3 day weekend! School was still in session here. It only matter for my preschooler though. He goes to preschool at the church for half days. But if the school district doesn't have school then the preschool also takes the day off.

wow 3am  I bet you are so tired!! I hope your younger girls were able to sleep through it.

Interesting! I need to find a preschool for my youngest but I’m scared it will cost an arm and a leg.

I was so tired. Omg and now I’m sick :(. Me and the youngest both have coughs and runny noses. It sucks. She also has low grade fevers.

It is raining a lot here today!

In my area the cheapest way to go is through the churches. A lot of churches in my area from all different denominations offer a Mother's Day Out/Parent's Day out program and or a preschool program. It's cost significantly less than a traditional preschool. And you can pic your days too which helps control costs. You can choose 2, 3, 4, or 5 days a week.

I would call around and check into everything. Here I have seen Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, and Baptist churches offering these programs.

Jo I am so sorry that you and your youngest are sick :( I hope you both get better quick.

It rained a tiny bit today but not enough to even bother with an umbrella. It's supposed to rain a lot the next two days though.

Thanks for the info Amy! I will totally look into that. My daughter will be 4 soon and she said she is never going to school because she is going to be with me forever

My throat is on fire :bawl:my poor baby said her chest hurts :( I guess I should take her to the doctor today.

It rained a lot this past day and it is still raining. I went to pick up my daughter and I sat there for less than 20 minutes. It was 64 degrees and by the time I left it dropped to 50!

 that is so funny Jo! She just loves being with you so much  I actually homeschool my oldest son but my youngest goes to preschool 4 days a week for 3 hours a day so that I can do schoolwork with my oldest. Next year the preschool he is in is shifting to a 5 hour a day program. But they are only raising their rates by a $100. Considering that he will be there an additional 32 hours a month I think that isn't bad at all. He will be turning 4 almost as soon as the new school year starts so I don't think 20 hours a week instead of 12 will be too much of a shock for him.

I hope you can find a program that works for you and your budget Jo. I sent my oldest to preschool for two years at the church and he loved it as well.

It rained off and on all day today. It's supposed to rain tomorrow too.

Wow that is a huge temperature drop in a really short time. Our high temps are staying in the 70's though for the next several days. Probably because we are close to the water so we have all that warm Gulf air to counteract the colder air blowing in.

~jo♥jo~ 02-21-2018 08:45 PM

She really thinks she doesn’t have to go school. She’s like I’m never gonna leave you. Ever. :lmao:

Oh I didn’t know you home school your oldest! How is that going? Do you like it? How much time do you put into that a day with him?

It’s been 32-34 all day long here and raining almost all day. It was cold!!

We went to the doctor today and my youngest does not have the flu :yay: so I guess we just have a bad cold :pout:

One Thing Remains 02-23-2018 02:00 AM

My oldest son thinks he is going to live with me forever - even after he gets married :lmao:

I love homeschooling. Usually about 3-4 hours. It greatly depends on him on long it takes. If he focuses and gets it done then we are through quickly. If he drags his feet and takes forever it takes us a lot longer.

wow that sounds really cold. I hope it warms up for you soon.

So glad your youngest does not have the flu :yay:

~jo♥jo~ 02-23-2018 09:29 AM

Isn’t it so cute!?! I love it!

I don’t think I have the patience to home school. I get hot tempered so fast!

Now I’m sick :bawl: it is so hard being sick because you have to do everything still. Being a mom is a full time job even if your sick.

It’s Friday :yay: any plans this weekend Amy?

One Thing Remains 02-23-2018 05:04 PM

 that is probably the number one things people say to me when they find out I homeschool

So sorry you are sick Jo :( Being sick really sucks so I hope you are better soon.

We might try the boardwalk this weekend if it's not raining. Other than that no. How about you?

~jo♥jo~ 02-23-2018 08:11 PM

Oh really!?

It really sucks to be sick :bawl: and having kids doesn’t make it easier either. Plus my big baby husband

I hope I can rest this weekend. My brother and his wife took my mom to give me a break this weekend.

You doing anything this weekend?

One Thing Remains 02-25-2018 12:25 AM

Yeah there are no sick days as a mom :(

Glad that your brother and his wife took your mom. That will at least take some stuff off of you and help you rest some.

This weekend is a pretty quite one. We didn't end up going anywhere today. Tomorrow is church and then I have a board meeting for my oldest son's summer swim team. I hope the board meeting goes by fast. Those are so boring
