Police officer Will Simpson, played by Wil Traval, is a reinvented version of Frank Simpson, aka Nuke.

Like in the comics, Simpson was a former soldier that was experimented on and uses different color pills to increase and control his abilities, which are increased pain tolerance and strength. The downsid to taking the pills is a deterioration of Simpson's state of mind.

When Traval was introduced by Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb to the Jessica Jones panel at NYCC, his mysterious role was described only as “NYPD Cop,” but it turns there’s a lot more to his character than Loeb would let you believe. Traval tells IGN that he’s actually the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Frank Miller Daredevil villain Frank Simpson a.k.a. Nuke… with a slight name change.

that really was hilarious. I didn't care for Will much tbh but I did like his and Jessica's interactions, and how sassy she was with him

I didnt care much for his character (at least in the end. in the beginning i kinda liked him) but the scene wtih jessica above was super funny

Agreed when he showed up he seemed a fun presence and had a very cool rapport with Jessica, but they abandoned that and turned him into a one note bore...

defintiely for me too. i wish they had left out him turning to the pills and becoming some character i was bored wtih and instead they would have made him a bigger ally for Jessica

He really is kinda hot....

Later in the season when he gets annoying it's like I'm blind to his hotness. But early in the season it was definitely noticeable

Yeah, would be good if he got likeable again before he decides to take his shirt off next

OR go full on evil, I'd probably prefer that to... whatever exactly he is right now
