Man, it's somehow even more heartbreaking to hear how sad you guys all are about his death. I'm wondering if they made a mistake there because he really seemed to be one of the most loved characters on the show.

I can't confirm this, but I believe Tate filmed those final scenes on his actual birthday judging from on set photos. Crazy! I don't know if the phone call was filmed on that day, but maybe? I would love to know if that is true.

Honestly? That's really crazy because man, a birthday is supposed to be a great day and filming a death scene on it. My respects, really.

holnestly Kris i do believe they made a huge mistake by killing of Simon, cause i do believe he is one of the most loved characters on the shpw, and i do believe many people wont watch anymore because that, as if to if they killed of one of the twins would for me have made more sence, cause yeah simon was my precious mysterious star

Yeah, it's the same for me... I was really disappointed that they killed him. I don't understand it still. It's been so sad and he has been so much loved. He was mysterious, he was creepy and yes, damaged, but he was Simon and such a unique and special character...

Besides, Tate was damn talented!

Yes I am still sad they decided to kill him They could have made somebody else drive the bomb but I guess they wanted the death to have an impact and this why they chose a beloved character

and u could be right that they did it to affect the characters, but it did for a moment and then the funeral wwas there, and then boom we are further ahead, i mean we dont really see how it affects them like with their lives, its like oh well, moving on

Heidi, it's not just you... I thought it really disappointing that we got that time jump. It didn't work for me because everybody seemed to be fine again but Simon's death must have been such a great impact. At least on Alex and Raina... We were kind of robbed of their grieving...

It was a two months time jump, right? Am I recalling it right?

Who knows... Maybe we can expect some more in season 2. Like I said, I'm sure that framing the people responsible for his death will be a big part of the upcoming season. This way he'll always be around. I still wish there were flashbacks. Who knows, maybe he'll at least be in a few episodes. Like a guest appearance.

They at least brought a few people back for the season 1 finale... So I guess it's not impossible that we might see him again, right?

No, I doubt it's been more of them but Caleb's mom will be hard to be framed and so far it's just Alex knowing about it and she hasn't Simon anymore to help her. She'll need somebody else. And I'm wondering if somebody will believe her.
