I think too that he isn't "a good all son" but there's something more going on. It could be as you said or even that this Gideon is bf in disguise knowing what he'd look like (she is the most powerful fairy after all). We've been wondering since episode one, will we ever know?  __________________

Hmmm....I just thought of another thing: the playground swingset that Belle met Gideon at was in the cemetery of all places. What do you think that means? Were they trying to show us something wasn't quite right?

I definetely think there's a reason why they meet in a cemetry. After all it's still "their" dreamworld so, why not choosing something happy, she isn't cursed anymore
