Timberlake: I'm Not Obliged To Do Another 'n Sync Album

Man, I'm bummed! With the BSB coing back soon and all the time Nsync has taken to announce something, I feel foolish!

I think Celebrity was 'it'. Justin moved on big time and so have the other guys, but is life sooooooooo wonderful now that they can't do a small project just to thank the fans or whatever!

I don't want them to tour or be everywhere 24/7. Times change and right now they don't want to do it and for me, personally, would be exhausting!

But a little album, 10 nice little songs and I'm happy. No tours, just one more production that says "good bye".

I'm sure JC could write some cool stuff, and with so many good writers around they could add an album that takes them away from the pop and gives them a fresh, deeper adult sound.

If they never go back together for whatever reason I'll feel dissapointed.

I'm hoping that JC, Joey, Chris and Lance can work something if Justin is the one that doesn't want a piece of the cake. That'd be great.

Or... I'll settle for JC putting out another album.

Maybe I'm wrong and should forget about it all already.

i really thought that they might have a go for it once more, but it's looking less and less likely. i am thinking a greatest hits album is the most we will ever see.

Ya know, no matter how hot Justin is - simply put he's an @$$ in my opinion. He would be nothing without *NSYNC - so as far as I'm concerned he can shove it.

I've been waiting for another album for too long, I want my Lancie-poo back again.

People seriously need to stop ragging on Justin. It's getting old.

He is not responsible for those poor other rich men, to my knowledge he didn't sign his whole life away to the group, they had a good run and went out on top. Why would anyone want them to come back and possibly flop?

You're right, Justin would be nothing without *Nsync, I'm sure he knows that, but it doesn't mean that he has to go back in a group if it means he's unhappy to please fans.

Would you guys stay in a career that might make you unhappy if you found a similar opportunity you know you'd enjoy?

i can see both sides of the justin argument. i still think that he is cocky, but let's face it, he has made a very strong career for himself. yes, *nsync put him out there, but going back, for justin, would be a dangerous career move. i think that if he did, he'd lose a lot of credibilty.

but that being said, i would like to see *nsync make more music. it would be interesting to see what type they would put out now.

I think that in the future they SHOULD come out w/another Nsync album but right now Justin should do his solo thing.

not to rub it in...but to me, Justin and JC are Nsync. the other three are useless and can't sing well on their own... besides the other three guys hardly did any writing of their own to contribute in the previous albums....it was mostly of JT/JC and they put alot of work into it.

i'm happy that JT is out of Nsync for good...he's doing great as a solo artist..yea i know not better than it was when he was in Nysnc...but hey...he has alot of potential and he is the King of Pop.

so for me, JT is better off without the other members of Nsync. he's awesome on his own.

or actually i wouldn't mind if JT and JC became a duo instead...

Regarding the other members, they are not useless. They all made the group and without any one the group would not have been the same. I think Lance, Joey and Chris are all talented in their own rites and to put them down is wrong.

Joey does sing great and he's received great reviews from all his shows, where he does in fact have quite a few solos. Chris is working on a rock album and from what i've heard and from other people who have heard the songs and seen Chris live, they rock. For Lance, I think he added great bass, but we all know bass singers don't do very well solo. I think Lance's success will eventually come from his business sense or his movie company.

As for my feelings regarding Justin, I do think he has become extremely cocky and it really shows. It was obvious in Miami that a lot of people have lost a lot of respect for Justin because of his decisions to keep putting the cd/group on hold. After talking to Chris' friends one night, it's obvious the guys have been ready for awhile, it's Justin that keeps pushing everything back. I think that yeah he may do well with another cd/ solo success, but all this time he has said that they will do another cd and the sad fact that is if he doesn't than he lied.

I super duper hope that JC/Justin don't have a duo. It would never work. Their music is completely different and in my hopes and dreams, they would do one more cd and then say thank you in a proper send off with one more tour. Then they can go off and do their own thing. There were rumors of a greatest hits cd to end the contract with Jive and I really hope that doesn't happen. It's just stupid and an easy get way out.

I for one would support them in any decision they make, as long as their honest ones. I in fact am super tired of most of the music that is played on mtv and it showed last night while watching the VMA's. My most enjoyed moment was Alicia Keys because it really is all about the voice and the performance. Just basically not a hip-hop fan, not a hard rocker type of fan, although some songs I do like, but there is a chance that NSYNC could do another cd and it might work. I think with the mixture of all of them and if they truly collaborated, it would rock. Remember as we get older, there are young ones following and a lot of their parents don't like the music that's out there. I think pop music helps kids stay grounded. I'm sorry but most of the latest music is not brought into my house. I have a 12 year old and at this age everything is impressionable. The latest music is just a lot of curse words and I think for that reason, people like the American Idol tour and show work, Clay's tour, John Mayer, and Jessica Simpson sell is because the parents decide a lot of it. I think NSYNC could come back with a great cd, with a great message and fun music and work. Pop music will never die, imo. It may change, but it will never just die.

Well, basically sorry for my rant, but that's how I feel.

It's not that Justin HAS to go back. I'm in love with the music in his solo career and can't wait for his next solo CD.

But... I just would like him to show more appreciation like we did buying his CD before all hell broke lose and he was Justin Timberlake the greatest thing ever...

We bought his CD and would've bought even if it had been crap just to support him.

It sucks that we get to be the ones always on the "I'm rooting for you" side while they can use that and not feel we are helpful.

This is so sad, I just got very weepy eyed 'cause I'm watching midnight love (comes on BET from 12am-1am and it plays love songs) and Nsync's gone came on and it was just like: "I remember then."

Yep, it is sad. Trust me, i'll support anything the guys do, I just wish something could work out.


My daughter had it on Radio Disney the other night and they played "it's gonna be me." Made me nostalgic. I've been in the mood to see old videos. I might pop them in this weekend while i'm alone.

YEP! Things have really changed. I really miss those times. I remember when you came down and I kept trying to memorize Justin's lyrics in It Makes Me Ill. It took me forever.
