I was onboard with the drama at first but now I'm not so sure anymore.

Maybe fandom has made me paranoid but I fear they're using it as an excuse to push Iris out of her own family and even sideline WestAllen.

I don't think it's an attempt to sideline Westallen but they aren't including her IMO. It's the typical writers move from removing her from the Francine storyline having Joe/Barry talk about it. Remove her from Wally's introduction somehow Barry ended up being there when Joe was told, thereafter Joe shares with Barry he went to see Francine and gives Barry his family watch.

Later Barry has to explain to Joe that Wally wants to live with Joe since he missed out.

Now we've heard again and again...and again. Nora is a Daddy's girl but the information surronding her and Iris keeps getting worse. Cold. Distant. "Doesn't like her.." "Doesn't want to be around her.." (I'm parphrasing).

What makes the situation worse is it's another female dynamic suffering. From my own personal upbringing you must have lost your mind if you think you're going to look at your mother sideways. There's so much I don't think the writers have the capability to navigate. From big to small. For example, Barry's reaction to Nora being this way towards her own mother and Joe's...OMG JOE'S will most likely be non confrontational and unsupportive. Like when Ralph was having a go at her.

Life is enough of an uphill battle for Iris fans. It's not going to be pretty when the narrative is her own daughter hate her. JMO.

I'm sure they will resolve it but given the writers. I get why people are very skeptical. These are the same writers who made Iris' own bachelorette party about Killer Frost, her wedding about O/F and allowed her Speedster episode to have more than 30% Ralph, Iris comfort Barry about temporarily losing his powers and zero no Iris/Joe.

I really hope this storyline to some of the other moments in the West/Allen family storylines
