It wasn't worse but the WA scene being cut and Barry being inwardly focused at the end was annoying.

I think the fight in STAR Labs was pretty good.

Barry acting like that at the end was sad but to be expected because that's who he is. He gets mad and pushes people away when he's in grieving mode.

Iris instead is always written to be strong and to push her feelings down. As a result of their different personalities those type of scenes are painful to watch. She's too comforting and he's too avoiding.

I think Iris is allowed to break down because in a sense Ralph's death is on her as well. She is the co-leader and went along with Barry's no killing plan. She's also worked alongside Ralph for longer than Barry since she was there for the team during his prison stint.

But Iris having a POV over this is not gonna happen because aside from a few episodes here and there this show enjoys manpain and boxing Iris into the Strong Black Woman thrope.

She did spend more time with Ralph. She even defended him when I didn't agree with him. Nor did Barry when I think about it. With her taking a katana to the arm and losing a member of the team. I'd like so love her way.
