It was a good episode until I didn't see the scene I was expecting.
I actually liked Cold and his sister. They care about one another a lot and their dad was a bastard. Cisco getting a kiss...awww. I also loved the beginning where Iris jumped from the building, I had been waiting for that. She is starting to do her reporting which is good. Patty annoys me and it isn't because she is a potential love interest, her babbling is annoying, like tone that down a notch. Loved the Joe/Iris scene it was beautifully acted by both. I am not 100% in agreement with Joe saying her mom was dead, but it is understandable in a way as he really had no idea where she was. It will be interesting to see what happens between them. I know Joe said wearing the ring was better for a widower but it was 20 years, he obviously still cares if he has been wearing that for so long. I do wonder where Iris's mom has been. The ending - Caitlin is thirsty, lol. It's only been 6 months since the death of the love of her life, a bit fast but she has to move on sometime plus I like Jay. Poor Stein, he needs another firestorm quick and then Wells! not sure which wells to expect. All of that was great but then I notice I didn't get the scene I saw in the stills. Where is the WestAllen scene where Barry and Iris spoke about her mom? I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it will be in the next episode but if it was cut, I would be so mad! It would finally give the audience a chance to see Iris's feelings about what's going on in her life and they cut it???! __________________

They always do this to Iris. She's not allowed to be mad that her father lied to her because some people might call her a bitch. She is always supposed to be a cheerleader to both Barry and Joe, it seems.
And cutting a scene where we could actually see her side of things? __________________

We might because we know who is coming anyways and Linda is needed for that.

WHERE'S THE WA HEART TO HEART?
Iris/Candice slayed tough. But when are we gonna see Iris truly grieving or at least opening up about Eddie? This is getting ridiculous. I loved the CCPN stuff, but that's still not enough. It was a solid episode, but this season still has some problems to be worked out, especially when it comes to Iris. __________________
