[3.17] DUET ϟ EPISODE DISCUSSION ϟ https://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a...D550/ry%3D400/ ϟ DARREN CRISS (“GLEE”) GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER ϟ ϟ PROMO ϟBarry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end. ϟ REMINDERS ϟ - Be respectful. Not everyone is going to agree with you at all times. It’s perfectly fine to disagree with someone as long as it is done respectfully. |

I loved Millie - the gum-smacking girl with 2 dads. I love that Candice killed yet another role on the show. And of course, she looked great doing it!
I wasn't too big a fan of the musical until the first major number was performed. Before that, I felt like it was campy, but they had to set it up! I loved the True Love's Kiss from Iris!! :in_love: All of it, irrelevant IMO compared to the end. Grant killed that last song and on top of it, the proposal was sweet, beautiful and perfect for Barry and Iris. In an interview, Grant mentioned that Candice hadn't heard the song before they taped the proposal, so the tears were all real and at the end, the crew gave them a round of applause!! I could take or leave the musical, but Barry and Iris were beautiful!!! |

Fast talking Millie with her Dads and the most beautiful proposal. :in_love: Grant sang amazingly, Candice reacting to all of it, the look on her face and the tears in her eyes. They have such a natural beautiful chemistry. It's what made the episode. |

Millie's dads loved her so much :love: I laughed when they gave her their blessing but immediately after were all "We're going to war!" :lol: Aw Candice got emotional when she heard Grant sing :love: |
She was amazing through the whole episode.
What got me most is she doesn't have lines as Grant is singing but her face says everything. :clap: :love: |
