We were discussing possible proposals on the Waige thread. I'd love to see Ralph propose. It would be a unique twist, and also completely appropriate, since Ralph is a big part of how they got together in the first place. Of course, it would have to be the right thing for both Walter and Paige before they agree. I suspect, however, that Ralph's understanding of emotions - particularly when it comes to his parents - is more than up to the task of realizing when the time is right for them to make the family official.

Here's a little addition to that "plans" scenario on the Fly thread that I just thought of on my way home:

A few weeks after the "plans convo":

Paige: Ralph, honey, Walter and I have... plans... tonight so I arranged for you to spend the night at Daniel's. Ms. Jill is going to pick you up at 7:30, okay?

Ralph: Okay, but can you ask her if she can pick me up at Kovelsky's around 9pm? Patty and I have plans to meet there again."

Paige: *gently places hand on his shoulder * Sweetie, I don't want you to say you have plans at Kovelsky's anymore.

Toby smirked: What's wrong with Kovelsky's? If I remember correctly, you and Wally-boy almost made plans there during my wonderful wedding with my wonderful wife."

Oblivious of the innuendo, Ralph looks at his mother, confused. "You want me to meet with Patty somewhere else?"

Paige: *glares at Toby then gives a sweet smile to Ralph* "No, sweetie. That's not what I mean. I mean... yes, you can meet at Kovelsky's. In the future, just say.... "I have a meeting" instead of "I have plans." It'll create less confusion.

Walter looks up from his computer and blinks. "Really? Because I'm more confused than ever.
Ralph: I am as well.

Paige rubs her temples. "Never mind..."

I was on a conference call today going over our project schedule for the weekend, and the boss wanted to review everyone's availability. After the 3rd person said "I've got plans...", I started to lose it.

Paige being sick in the Valentine's episode got me thinking more about when Walter is going to move into the condo.

I can understand that he settled Paige into his loft and took care of her there during the work day - but did they plan on her staying there through her entire illness? When Walter got back from saving the doctor, it would seem logical to get her back to her own home - where she can be more comfortable. There's Ralph to consider, unless Paige wanted Ralph to stay with someone else so that he won't catch whatever she has.

It's beginning to feel like Paige doesn't even *have* her own home anymore, considering we haven't seen it and it has hardly been mentioned.

I do understand that production expenses are a driving force. But they've put together sets for a space ship, an underground bunker, a biodome and a shark-invested ocean to name just a few. I realize those are case related, and so more prominent. But it just seems that somewhere in there they could afford something that would allow characters other than Walter to have a home to go to.
