I love Elyes' ability to show those subtle shade of emotion when Walter is trying very hard NOT to show emotion - yet you can tell he's feeling it. And that's all kudos to Elyes' acting ability.

I agree that Elyes is fantastic in portraying Walter as he falls apart emotionally. It's so sad to watch and completely believable.

It's one of my favorite things about the show, really. I'm sure I've said this before.

Serious Walt

Walt has been so serious the past few episodes, I hope he gets to lighten up a little soon!

I don't really expect that will happen, if Megan does die. Actually, if it does I'll be a little upset. If they have to kill off Megan, I want the characters to grieve, not go on like nothing has happened.

But after a decent amount of time, I hope Walt finds some happiness and lightens up.

I expect there to be a cloud over them for a while.

I'd be disappointed if they brushed past Megan's death and the effect it has on Walter, but at the same time, this is a lighthearted show and I don't want to see that change too much. It will be interesting to see how the writers strike a balance in the upcoming episodes.

The writers definitely have some tough work ahead of them. But they can have Happy, Toby and even Cabe and Ralph return to their usual lighthearted selves while allowing more time for Walter, Paige and Sly to deal with the grief. I expect the others to be supportive of Walter, but that doesn't mean their grief will be the same, or last as long.

I agree, because I think Walter's grief will be mixed with guilt. That will be hard to get over, but I'm counting on Paige to help him through it.

Just leaving this here too because it's Walter related.
