I feel like Walter won't want to tell them at first, but Paige encourages him to do so since he promised he would try to connect more with his mom and dad than he has in the past.

I feel like it wouldn't cross his mind. He doesn't have a solid relationship with them and it probably wouldn't occur to him to make a decision on if and when to tell them.

I don't think he'd go out of his way to tell them. Like he would make a special call just for that. But he's so fascinated with his new status, that if he does contact them for some reason, it seems like he would mention it - maybe even gush about it a bit.

To answer (or not really) your question, I have no clue what make or model of what that is. It's apparently a chronograph, and I'm surprised to note that it's analog - not digital.

Yeah that's what makes it a cool. That even though Walter is a science nerd (or geek, I don't care for labels) he wears an analog wristwatch, not a digital (or a smartwatch) as most will think.

It *might* be a Seiko. I base that only because there is a line of silver on the face on the side where the 3 is that looks like it could be a brand name/logo, and Seiko often puts its name in that position on its watches.

I'm so excited to see if his first night with Paige changes anything for him. Like his outlook on life, and if he'll even seem more cheery than he did on the island.

I'm sure it will change almost everything for him. He probably won't be able to concentrate on anything for a while. (I hope they don't get a difficult case too soon) His perspective and priorities will skew, and I expect he will be intolerably more cheery than he was on the island. I can't predict how long these affects will last though.
