It's going to rain all weekend which sounds like a great reason to binge watch and maybe make a list of favorite Walter scenes

Very nice, Nicole. Elyes certainly does know Walter well - the subtle contradiction of Walter's emotional makeup. And he does an amazing job of bringing that subtlety to the screen.

I really like how aware Elyes is of it, and it's always something he brings up when he talks about the character. In the S1 bonus features he said something like "he has this huge emotional vault, but he doesn't have the tools to access it." Then he said something similar in Monte Carlo. So that's really great to hear.

It's clear he's really spent time building this character, and developing him into such an interesting, multi-layered person.

He always talks about how as an actor he wants to challenge himself and play different characters, and considering Scorpion has longevity, I think he likes that he has such a complex character to play. He won't be getting bored with Walter O'Brien, that's for sure.

I must be hormonal or something today because I'm trying to make a general show gifset right now (won't be done until tomorrow because work) and I got to a gif including Walter and actually almost started crying. I am such trash.
