I never thought I'd get *this* emotional about a Cabe ship but Callie just really gets to me.

One of the things I love about this show is that they are willing to do some atypical relationships. They could do more, of course. But they've done something towards recognizing that falling in love isn't about finding someone who young and fabulous looking.

Yeah, all the ships in the show sort of attack some mainstream stereotypes.

I like how they started this ship - where it sort of fell into Cabe's lap. It was pretty clear that he thought he'd never be in a relationship again. And even though he was smitten, he had no idea how to go about doing anything about it. It was a fun irony because he's been acting like he's the wise adviser for Walter where women and concerned - and yet in some ways he's bumbling around like a school boy. I also like that Allie is just as smitten as Cabe is. It's a beautiful thing.

Yeah, it's just so cute. If they hadn't had him react like that I don't know that I would have gotten as attached to it as I am.

Exactly. It's cute and sweet, and although there is sometimes humor in it, they don't make a joke of it, if that makes sense.
