Well when you're ready to read fic again I know you're really gonna like chapter 10 of Try Try Try.

I agree, that's really something I'd like to see too. I mean, I'm sure there'd be some level of humor because I really feel you need humor in a lot of situations, but I want something more to the effect of the "two left brains" joke rather than "Walter can't have a conversation without being awkward" humor.

Humor has been something of a running theme with Waige, and Walter's abilities at humor have grown much like his EQ - with occasional backsliding but a general forward movement. I remember her comment, "More of that, please" when he made a joke in The Old College Try (I think). Now I'm seeing them dancing and Walter whispers something that causes Paige to burst out laughing.

I love that idea. Similar to his joke in True Colors, but instead of an amused chuckle, an actual out of nowhere laugh.

We need equal time, though. I don't think we've ever seen Walter full-on laugh. We need to have Paige say something that makes him laugh out loud.

I am off on Tuesday, so while I do have a counselor appointment mid day, I hope to get some giffing done then. If Captain Mal (my old laptop) cooperates.

I'd recommend getting Inara to whisper something in Captain Mal's microphone - but that would just get him overheated, which isn't good for computers.

I could actually see Paige being into it. I don't see Walter watching much TV, and there's a lot of heart in Firefly, I don't know if he would have been interested in it back before the show started.

I don't see Walter as much of a TV watcher, either. He's really not that sort of nerd. Paige would have been about 16 when it first aired, so she might have gotten into it then.

She would have been 14. I was thinking more of maybe she got into it later in life - since she joined Scorpion. She could afford Netflix then, so maybe asked her Facebook friends for recommendations, and people suggested Firefly.
