Yes. Very much so. Her expectations are based on her own past experiences, experiences of her friends in relationships, and societal "norms". She'll have to learn to temper those expectations and appreciate that she loves Walter more because he is different and that difference means he will express himself in unexpected ways. She will hopefully come to appreciate that there is actually an appeal to the unexpected. She may not get flowers on her birthday, but what Walter does do to be romantic or express his love will likely be unique and special.

I could see Walter doing a lot of cliche stuff because he wants to make her happy, and she does seem to like that stuff, but I think they're find a balance that is wonderfully them.

I really really want to see them on the date, learning more about each other's passions... like Walter taking Paige to an art gallery just so he can watch her enjoy the afternoon and possibly learn something through her eyes... and vice versa... Paige take Walter to some space museum or something and learning to appreciate the things through his eyes as well (if that makes sense)

I would love to see them at a space museum. And even more so if she planned it for him to enjoy himself (thinking she'd just enjoy seeing him happy) but then finds out that she's actually really interested too.

I'm currently working on a future chapter for a fic and they're telling each other exactly why they love each other/what they love about each other (it's not wedding vows just fyi ) and it's making me super emotional.

I agree it's something couples should probably do, and it's something that Walter and Paige really do need to do at this point in the fic. I got inspiration from Marshall and Lily's wedding vows on How I Met Your Mother and from a scene in Just Go With It with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

There is song out there by Sam Hunt called Body like a Backroad I am thinking how funny it would be if Walter heard that song and then later he tells Paige that she has a body like a backroad thinking he is complimenting her curves

Yeah, I can't see Walter listening to country either, but maybe dating Paige will broaden his horizons. She might have very diverse tastes in music and take him to a country music festival of some sort. Or they could go to dinner someplace that plays country.

That is why I think this season is going to be so interesting to see if Walter will try things out of his comfort zone for Paige I think we will see Walter try new things because he loves Paige and wants to make her happy

True. I can see them shopping together and suddenly Walter starts singing along with the chorus because he thinks the song is a perfect reflection of his feelings for Paige. And serenades are romantic, right?

... meanwhile, Paige prays for an earthquake to open up the floor and swallow her.
