It's fuzzier now than it was when I woke up, as I know is typical with dreams. But it was something like, a kid was found unresponsive, and the whole movie takes place in the couple minutes that they're trying to save him. But the unresponsive kid is having some sort of out of body experience and he appears to Eddie's character to help him work through his own personal stuff. Then once Eddie does the personal growth stuff his character needed, it flashes back to "real time" and they save the kid. I wish I remembered more of it because I feel like that isn't enough to make sense.

It was really a good dream! And when I woke up I still remembered more details and wanted that to be an actual movie.

And I totally agree, it would have made a cool episode.

I wish I had more Scorpion dreams! If I do I can't remember them.

I've had a couple of Scorpion dreams. One of them turned into Observational Study and another became Hot Head and Cold Feet. Not that I dream the entire story. Usually it's just the general premise and a scene or two.

I actually dreamed a couple scenes of my WIP. And I feel like I got a couple scenes from The Cyclone Trap from dreams too.

A lot of my story ideas come to me just as I'm trying to go to sleep, too. Which usually means I have to get up and jot them down, because if I don't, I kick myself in the morning. I remember I had a great idea - but can't remember the actual idea.

I’ve been doing a rewatch of CSI lately and just got to the episode that Eddie guest-starred in. His character was highly intelligent, involved in a gambling scheme, and had a not-so-great father. Sounds kinda familiar.

I always thought the psychiatrist part of his character seemed to fit him best. When they dressed Toby up as Freud for Halloween, it looked very believable with just a few small props. To me he just gives off the vibe of someone who can look at you and figure out what makes you tick.

I agree. My favourite Toby scenes were when he was 'shrinking' someone, or profiling a suspect.
