Good thoughts. I think you might be right that she might have a bit of resentment. At first she'll be okay with it, precisely because it is something she would like to do herself. But then as it becomes a reality, she may start to feel a bit of resentment that Sly gets his dream and she does not.

A lot will depend on whether Florence keeps that inside and lets it seethe or if she is up front with Sly and lets him know. She may have a problem with that, since she may think that she agreed to it, and has no right to go back on that agreement. But letting him know that she's having second thoughts will be much less damaging than allowing that resentment to fester.

I'd like to think they might find a way to compromise - like Sly does his research for a year or two and then goes back to work to give Florence an equal amount of time. With Walter as their employer, they might be able to work that out.

I wish I had the energy to write more things we come up with. But almost no one is reading Scorp fic anymore and while I do partially write for me, stuff that takes up a lot of time and extra thought just isn't worth it if no one reads.

I wish I had the time. I really thought I would have more time to write and do other things when I moved, but between my family and taking care of a house and a dog, I'm a lot busier now than I was before.

And I know people are busy, and I know that obviously the longer a show is gone, the less people read fic. But that doesn't change that it's a lot of work and to get almost nothing back is discouraging. I've written fics that I've never published because I would rather have my feeling about those fics stay "I'm proud of that" than every time I think of them think "I was proud of that, but no one read it."

Yes! I think that's part of why I got so attached to Fly so quickly; they became such good friends so fast that chemistry and wanting to be around each other just couldn't help but come through on screen.

They're always just so happy to be talking to each other and it gives me life.

I have "live" notifications on for Tina - Ari randomly goes live way too often but I'd say about half the time she does, it's that.
