Maybe? They say women can be attracted to men who remind them of their fathers, but Sean O'Brien wasn't exactly the best dad in the world so perhaps Walter fulfilled that role for Megan in some way instead?

Of course Sylvester is just a wonderful person so Megan didn't need any other reason to fall in love with him!

Of course Sly is awesome just for himself. But if you look beneath the surface, I think he and Walter have a lot more in common than just genius. They both recognize value in people where others don't. They both have enormous hearts - it's just that Sly lets his show while Walter tries to hide is. I can see Megan seeing that and realizing that Sly is able to express his feelings in a way that she wishes her brother could.

Yes, I completely agree. That's why Megan was so quickly drawn to Sylvester. She saw how much love he had to give. I think she would want him to find love again with someone else. (Whether we all agree with her is another matter!)

I imagine Megan's one regret was that she didn't live long enough to see her brother learn to fit in. I hope she realised that Paige is more than capable of taking over that role.

I did write in my secret santa fic that part of why Megan liked Sly so much is he was the only person in her life who wasn't fixated on her being sick. Walter was constantly "I'm gonna fix you" and everyone she saw every day were doctors and nurses. But then Sly comes along and just likes spending time with her, and wants to do the things she wants to do, and every other sentence isn't about her MS. Obviously that may not be part of it, but it's been my interpretation.

I can definitely see that being a big part of why Megan fell in love with Sly. He also encouraged her to do normal things, even if they had to adapt a bit. It's like Sly said - they made sure they had no regrets.

It's not surprising about the age gap. Sylvester is often presented as a big kid, but considering what he's been through, he grew up very fast. In some ways, he's very mature for his age. On the other hand, Megan has had a lot to deal with in terms of her disease, but she's been taken care of for her entire life - including her adult life. I got the impression she has never lived on her own - she was either with her parents, possibly with Walter for a short time and then in a hospital or care center. Despite her disease - or perhaps because of it and her attitude about it - she's very young at heart.

I never really thought about the age gap. I realised Megan was older than Walter and that Sylvester was the youngest of the team, but it didn't seem to be an issue in their relationship and there's no reason why it would.

Yep. Cabe and Allie, they've had entire storylines about it (Dirty Seeds), but Megan and Sly never worried about it.

I did think of it when Cabe was protesting going out with Allie because "she's at least ten years younger than me!" I was like "well that didn't stop Megan now did it?"
