I had a thought about how Walter bombs his date in 2x15 (pun intended).

What if... what if what actually goes wrong during his date with Linda is that he absentmindedly calls her "Paige" in one instance, and she takes offense to it and leaves?

Am I a bad person for wanting that?!

I don't think that'll be it - I know it happens in 'heat of the moment' situations, but just on a regular date, why would he call her Paige unless she was, for some reason, really reminding him of Paige?

I know it probably won't be what royally screws up his date, but if it was, I would think it would be because he is so used to communicating with Paige and since he secretly, some day, wants to have a relationship with her, he subconsciously calls Linda "Paige" without realizing it because, in reality, it's really Paige he wishes was sitting in front of him. (Hope that makes sense).
