Thank you for your reviews! Sorry I haven't had chance to respond yet, I've got a few reviews from the last few days to reply to and I'll get to them all this evening. Busy week so far, but I have a free evening and I have a few things to catch up on, including some reading. :)

EDIT: So apparently I've already read (and reviewed) the first 5 chapters of A Conflict of Parallels. It was over a year ago and I seem to have completely forgotten! Oh dear, I must be getting really old! :bawl: I've just re-read the first two chapters and I thought it seemed awfully familiar. :lol: I do remember you pondering whether you'd continue the story after some unpleasant reviews, but I didn't realise that was this story. So now I'm re-reading to jog my terrible memory and reviews will start from Chapter 6.

Posted the first two chapters of my new fic this week. Wanted to wait a bit, but also felt I might not write it if I didn't work on it when I was inspired.

I think it was the time jump that threw me. I remember this one was set some years into the future, but I didn't equate that with being your Part 3. :facepalm:

Are you ever planning on writing something set between parts 2 & 3? Not necessarily a Part 2.5 (!?), but just a one-shot, or something?

I'm just curious really because I've left a year between my fix-it (Sly Down) and the continuation (Sunshine and Sea Air)and I kind of thought I'd just leave that year alone, but now I'm having a few ideas for one-shots that would fit perfectly in that timeframe so I'm having second thoughts! There will be a part 2 of Sunshine... starting soon, but that will be set maybe only a month or two after the end of part 1.

So many stories to write, not enough time. :( It's very frustrating! :eek:

No, I don't think I will. Largely because of a few events referenced in Conflict back when it was going to be a standalone. There's a fairly major event in that fic where something Walter did during another major event (that would take place between 2 and 3) is brought up quite a few times and if I wrote a fic in between, it would probably have to cover that, and I don't think I could write it because it's talked about in Part 3 as being Beyond Perfect and Brilliant and I could never write it to be as good as I've referenced it. :lol: If that makes sense.

I suppose I may end up writing oneshots for Scorpion in the future that will take place post series that technically would fit between 2 and 3, since what I've written is my headcanon, but they won't officially be a part of the series.

Me: Well, I'm sick and can't do much of anything, so yay for extra writing time!

Me: *is asleep within minutes*

I've been trying to update one of my WIPS and woooow this illness is still kicking my butt. I barely get a sentence typed and my brain is fried.
