Oh most definitely. I don't know about anyone else, but it feels like this hiatus went by quickly, but now that we're less than a week away, it's starting to slow into a thousand years each day! I'm super excited for the new season especially the premiere. Can't wait to see how waige interact with each other now. Same with Quintis in regards to their marriage. Being on the island for three weeks didn't exactly give the couples the time they needed to really process their new relationship status with their significant others. Now that they're back home, I wonder how they'll be...

Will Waige be more lovey-dovey than usual? Or will they be able to keep it professional? Same with Quintis, now that they're married, will they still be in that honeymoon phase? lol

This is the first time I've had to wait through a hiatus - I only discovered Scorpion at the start of this year so I was able to binge watch straight through the first three seasons. You guys are going to have to give me a couple of days to catch up with the new season episodes though. Hopefully I'll be able to get hold of them fairly quickly after they're broadcast. I wish I could just watch it on TV on Monday nights though!

As an episode altogether, I thought it was done really well, but less climatic than the previous premieres? Maybe because it's just an opener to the second episode and that we haven't seen much of a conclusion yet, so I'll reserve complete judgement of the two episodes until next week after the second one airs.

BUT the team moments were spot on and some were hilarious. I loved how there was moments between Sly and Happy, and, surprisingly, between Waige and Collins. I don't know (yet) if Collins is messing with Waige's mind or if he's genuine, but his apology towards the end was - in its own way - sweet(ish). I wonder if seeing his life flash before his eyes really made him see the error in his ways.

Walter defending Waige at the end was everything. ♥

What are your thoughts, everyone?

Alright so, things I liked:

• the musical number
• Happy being all smug about the effect her costumes have on Toby
• "Last night was worth the three year wait."
• The Sly/Happy stuff.
• All the snide comments to Collins.
• Walter basically saying it doesn't matter what Collins says about Waige.
• The Melvester stuff, ugh, it got to me.

What was kinda meh:

• I just don't like Collins so that just kinda brings down my enjoyment of any ep he's in.
• Too little Quintis content.
• Too much "we're doomed" attitude from Waige.

I also really loathed Collins being all "yeah you used to be able to escape Walter with a baseball player or navy seal..." like it takes a lot for me to defend anything related to Drew because I cannot stand the guy. But 1. Paige and Drew were over for years before she even met Walter and 2. as much as I can't stand him, he was a very serious relationship for her, she loved him, she probably thought that she was going to spend her life with him, and that part of her life is probably still pretty important to her even though the feelings are gone. And I am not here for this guy getting into her head and cheapening the only two serious romantic relationships that the woman has probably had. (I mean I could be wrong about that, but we've gotten nothing to indicate that she's ever loved anyone other than Drew and Walter).

I rated it a B on TVLine.

The promo that showed it also showed Happy in the helicopter, so it was a promo for both episodes. So we will see the promo kiss next week.
