I really liked how they managed the episode. It didn't seemed rushed to me at all so it was a nice break from the usual crazy. I know a few people who disagree though, unfortunately, thinking waige ruined the quintis moments... or how they didn't like that it took a wedding of another ship to push waige together. Some saw it as forced. -_____-; (I guess beggars can't be choosers.)

I definitely thought it was a great balance, but then again, I ship both. In any Fandom, people who only ship one ship when there's multiples tend to get feelings like that, this ship shouldn't have good content when a big thing happens for another, why did this ship need something good for another ship to do this, etc. I'm lucky in that in most of my shows I tend to ship everything the writers set up as endgame, and because of that I tend to get giddy when multiple ships have moments in the same episode rather than annoyed. Plus, it's not like Walter interrupted the Quintis vows to blurt out how he feels about Paige, the scenes for each ship were separate. And it's also not like Walter only told her because they were at the wedding - he told her because 1. Ralph was on his ass about it and 2. He realized how much he needs her when she wasn't around and then was back for a case. So it's not like it actually took the wedding to get him to talk to her.

I love that Ralph was such a big part of Walter's decision to tell Paige. I also like that once Walter decided to do it - he went and did it. He was taking a big risk - especially since he still believed that Paige didn't return his feelings.

I was having an iffy day today, and so I watched this one. I watched the vows multiple times and the Waige scene multiple times. That episode is so good for my heart.

They did such a remarkable job of making this episode something for everyone. We had a beautiful Quintis wedding, but we also had a watershed Waige moment that managed not to detract from the wedding. We had some really good Walter/Ralph interaction; we had Toby/Paige and Happy/Cabe and Paige and Sly dancing and we had Ray! We even had nice Walter/Toby and Paige/Happy moments. The only thing missing was Allie.

Yeah, I love the episode so much I didn't really notice Allie wasn't in it at first, but thinking back, it would be even more perfect if we had seen her and Cabe at the wedding, even if they were just in the background.

To be honest, I love the ending of the episode so much and have watched it on repeat that I've forgotten what the case was. I'm going to have to re-watch that one before the new season starts.
