I'm glad I didn't see that sneak peek until I got home. I screamed so loud. I don't care about the circumstances - lip contact is lip contact.

But Paige kisses Walter only because they must, because of the oxygen. It's a simple short kiss. But I think that Walter was surprised and did not gerechnte so. But I hope that this also brief kiss in both what triggers.

The situation is SO special, though. Some people are complaining that it's not romantic but she was literally sharing her last breath with him. Like...THAT IS SO ROMANTIC OKAY.

YES! And this is not something anyone else tells her to do. Toby tells her Walter needs oxygen, and she figures out how to get it to him.

Although the pragmatist in me wonders if it might have been a bit more efficient, and possibly less awkward, just to place the mask on his face. Sorry - don't mean to harsh anyone's Waige buzz.

Well, she said she only had seconds of oxygen left, so she would have needed to inhale what she had left, anyway, and then giving the mask to Walter would have been useless because it wouldn't have the oxygen he needed. So, using the resources she had, it only made sense to give him her last breath through a kiss.

(to me, at least.)

Ah! Thank you for that explanation - it makes me feel better.

I really didn't like thinking that the kiss was impractical.

Yeah, she literally took the last bit of oxygen and shared it with him - because you see that she holds her breath immediately after their lips separate and they both immediately throw their masks away. So giving him the mask would have deprived her of oxygen, so they shared.

And yeah I love how no one tells her to do that, she figures it out, and I like how she prefaces it with the same words he says in the promo - if they're getting out of there, they're doing it together.

It's almost like, when she said "We're going to get out of here together," he knew what she was thinking because he was trying his best to climb up as best as he could as she leaned down towards him. Either way, they were on the same wavelength before they "kissed." He knew what she was planning to do, and she didn't even tell him.

The kiss is both still deal, even if the kiss was misused is to give Walter oxygen.
