Where it all began... THE CAMPAIGN THREAD { January 25th, 2013 }

I've been a FF member for almost 12 years now, and even though I've moderated a fair
share of boards, I can safely say this one is my absolute favorite. I cherish being part
of a board where I can come to after a long day of work (or a long night of sleep) to
celebrate my favorite actress, along with people who love her just as much I do. Jessica is
an inspiration to me in so many ways, and to be able to talk about her career (and just the
wonderful, beautiful person she is in general) is something that makes me happy. Thank you
everyone who's joined us during this first year, and a special thanks to my darlings
Ina and Thirza: without you two, this board would've never gotten this far. You are both
amazing in your own ways and I can't even begin to explain how talking to you brings me joy.
Thank you for sharing your time & love for Jess with me. This has been an amazing ride. ❤

I am so happy to celebrate the first birthday of our small cute perfect board dedicated to
one of my all time favorite actresses, who is such an inspiration to me ! I would like
to thank everyone who stops by and especially to my dear friends Ana and Tisha
THANK you, girls for making this place one of my favorite boards in FF! Let the party
begin and to a billion more celebrations like this in the future! Congrats !

Seriously, has it really been a year already? It surely doesn't feel like it. This place is just
lovely and filled with great vibes, and that is because of my fellow posters Ana and Ina.

Ana, thank you for starting a request thread and sticking with it for more than
two years, without your dedication we wouldn't have this board in the first place.

Ina, one of the nicest persons I have interacted with on the Internet and
the most loyal fan, posting here every day, even while on vacation! Thank you.

I'm glad you girls are part of this international team. And thanks to all members
who voted for Jessica Chastain on last year's August poll.

The first time I saw Jessica was in 2011 in the trailer for The Tree of Life and later in The Help,
but it wasn't until I watched Malick's film in late 2012 that I started paying attention to her.
Then, I saw the Zero Dark Thirty trailer on youtube and shortly after I began a Chastain marathon
and that's how she became my all-time favorite actor.

I'm so happy there is a board dedicated to her, where we can share opinions, pictures, gifs, news, film, TV,
book and music recommendations. Here's to more years of the Jessica Chastain Fan Forum Board.
